“Building models is not a hobby, it’s an addiction”. Mark O’Brien grew up as an avid hobbyist model maker, never satisfied with what came out of the box, always innovating, eventually turning his passion into a lifelong career.
Mark regularly turns his skills to a variety of unusual challenges, including uncannily realistic replicas of everyday objects for animation projects, display models of commercial products of various kinds, models for museum displays and more. Many of Mark’s personal projects have been the laboratories for developing techniques used on his commercial work.
